We provide practical advice and demonstrate how you find and use the settings to create a safer environment for children in your care.
Course Content and Structure
The Eyes Open Social Media Carer’s Workshop is presented as a half day session.
Content: Introduction to learn the basics about how social networking sites operate and the tools available to keep personal details protected. An overview of social media issues that children face and suggestions to reduce the chances of:
- Predators/Sex offenders
- Identity Theft
- Poor Digital Footprint
- Access to inappropriate material
